Dustin is 14. It’s one of my favorite times to photograph boys; they are beautifully awkward in their transition from boy to man. 
Jake is 12 and still has the tender sweetness of boyhood. He adores his pet rat. She just had 16 babies! The boys are energetic and always on the move but I wanted to capture their quiet side (minus the logo shirts and baseball caps). We did simple portraits with no shirts and plain backgrounds. I love their freckles and light skin.
